Muffin Recipe (Basic)

Makes 12 Muffins

Ingredients

2 cups white flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 cup milk
1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

*Preheat oven to 180°C
*Grease muffin pans or place muffin paper holders into pan
*Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large mixing bowl
*Add the egg, milk and butter, stirring only enough to wet the flour. Batter should not be smooth or overmixed
*Place sponfuls into muffin pans, each cup should be roughly two-thirds full
*Bake for 20-25min
*Enjoy!

Note: Add one-third of a cup of chocolate chips or blueberries to your wet mixture to create different flavours.
